Sibex Electronics
Sibex is
a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), UL Registered ISO
9001 and RoHS Compliant Electronic Contract Manufacturer with more than 100 employees.
Sibex has been incorporated since 1983 and
has three (3) manufacturing facilities. Our short-term goals
are to increase our market share and sales,
and to continually reinvest in the facilities, technology,
processes, employees, training and quality systems in support
of our customer's requirements. Looking ahead, we have the
facilities, equipment and capacity to grow substantially with
minimal
capital investments.

Our
headquarters is located in Safety Harbor, Florida, which is east
of Clearwater on Florida's West Coast. Adjacent to the office is our
two-story 8,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, predominately for
quick-turn electro-mechanical assemblies, box-builds and depot repair.
Our 30,000 sq. ft. fully automated production facility is primarily for electronic circuit board assembly and is located in Homosassa, Florida. In 2007, we expanded into a 5,000 sq. ft. customer-dedicated facility located in Largo,
Florida. Sibex will soon be expanding into a new facility in Homosassa, Florida. The new facility will allow us to better support our growing customer base.

History
In 1983, Sibex
was incorporated as a multifunctional business to serve various needs,
and was located in the Weaver Park area in Clearwater, Florida. They
designed the initial counter used on the Home Shopping Network, worked
on Hubcom satellite truck systems, and did design work for testing
equipment installed in the Saturn rocket. In 1987, Sibex relocated
to Safety Harbor into a 2,500 sq. ft. manufacturing facility with
more of a focus on contract manufacturing. In 2004, an adjacent 8,000
sq. ft. facility was built with an emphasis on quick-turn electro-mechanical
assemblies, box-builds and depot repair. In 2006, to accommodate the
increased OEM business opportunities and the associated high-tech
manufacturing requirements, a 30,000 sq. ft. facility with advanced
automated manufacturing equipment was acquired in Homosassa, Florida.
