We offer full turnkey assembly solutions to manage the supply
chain, reduce delivery times, and eliminate the associated upfront
costs for our customers. Moreover, we have the resources and
contacts to lower costs to the point where we are routinely
more competitive than if our customers procured the materials
themselves.

Labor Only Solutions
We also offer labor only assembly solutions (i.e. consignment), where we build from
customer-supplied kits. In compliance with our ISO document
control program, each consigned kit undergoes a thorough audit
once it is received. We compare the BOM to the components and
verify the part numbers, values, tolerances, package types,
package sizes, and quantities. It is recommended that the customer
account for attrition, since the assembly placement process
includes fallout, which in most cases is 2% or less.
Also,
it is equally important to procure for the assembly process
to obtain maximum efficiency relative to the processing equipment.
We prefer tape and reel, or tube feeders. Moreover, if surface
mount (SMT) parts are used, we require special mounting hole
and fiducial locations on the bare PCB to maximize the fully
automated process using our advanced Fuji machines. Our PCB
Guideline specification (see Download Section on homepage)
outlines these requirements, and also includes panelization
suggestions to further improve operational efficiencies.
Special
handling instructions are required if the kit includes products
or materials that require special solder types (e.g. lead-free),
reflow profiles, cleaning (e.g. cannot be washed in an aqueous
cleaner), or other special handling requirements.
Shortages
typically account for almost all delivery delays. We will
not start production on your kit until all shortage issues
are resolved.
